"Home is where the heart is"
For me my home is like a tranquilizer, it infuses in me a very strong sense of peace, calm and serenity. Bright, colourful and open are the words that immediately comes to mind, as you enter my 1065 sq ft apartment. A home tells so much about the inhabitants, so you will not be surprised if I tell that my home is warm, colourful and dramatic just like me.

After a hectic day at work, it feels great to be back home, well my heart is definitely at my home.  I always experiment with new ideas and use my home as a canvas for my thoughts to come to life. My theory in home decor is very simple, the house should be clutter free which not only gives openness but also maintenance becomes a lot easier. I love to use vibrant colours in my home decor, this helps in brightening up the place.  My living area is minimalistic in style and has furniture with clean lines. Here is a look at my stylish drawing room, if I may say so..........!!!!!!!!

Home décor

Therapy is a perfect word to describe gardening. A garden is a place of enjoyment and beauty and should also invite you in and soothe your spirit. It is also a healing place where you can go heal your wounds and rejuvenate yourself.

When it comes to gardening, my mom is my inspiration. Even with her busy schedule while managing home, her own business, 2 kids and a husband, she took out time for gardening, she has an amazing collection of bonsais and medicinal plants. She just loves gardening...!!!

I was often told that Bangalore is know as a garden city, but I rarely saw any gardens around me. With lack of space and growing apartment we often miss those huge luscious gardens. I have a very tiny balcony and at first sight it almost looked impossible to have plants in there. But after a little sketching and planning it was not that difficult.
It all happened on my last birthday, after an incredible lunch at Sunny's (Restaurant at Indranagar) while we were on our way back home, all of a sudden an idea of my balcony makeover popped up(Empty mind is a devil's workshop) thats when I decided to have my own garden....
here is a look at my tiny and cozy balcony.......

Recently picked up these Moodas from Jeevan Bhima Nagar, they are perfect for a tiny balcony....
Have added some water plants in my garden as well.....

My garden was in full bloom this spring, with Dwarf Rangoon creeper, Bougainvillea, Roses,  Jasmine, some seasonal flowers and some yummy strawberries, its was just beautiful...

So thats all about my tiny cozy balcony.........!!!
